Assistant Professor at the Institute of Sociology. Editor in the Journal of Family Studies. Executive Board Member of the European Sociological Association Research Network 13 Sociology of Family and Intimate Lives. Member of the Board of the Section of Sociology of Gender of the Polish Sociological Association. In 2015 she defended her PhD thesis about fatherhood in Poland and Sweden in the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw. As part of my research, she deals with issues related to family sociology, gender and social inequalities, critical studies of men and masculinity, as well as family policy.
She is an author of the book "Men, Fathering and the Gender Trap" (Palgrave Macmillan). In 2016-2020 she conducted research on the reconciliation of paid work and parenthood in the Poland, which resulted in a book "Parenting and work in Poland. A gender studies perspective" (Springer 2021, https://www.springer.com/gp/book/9783030663025).
